Hands on Birth Preparation with Melbourne Midwife Jo Terry & Simone Litchfield (EYS). Join us for a practical movement-based workshop designed to give you and your birth partner the confidence, skills and tools to support an active and empowered labour.
Includes: Rebozo, Birth sling, Fit ball for pelvic mobility, optimal Positioning for the birth, TENS machine, Yoga to reduce tension and build stamina/strength, Breath-work. Suitable for all birth plans and stages of pregnancy.

MELBOURNE MIDWIFE teaches relaxed and informative childbirth education on a Sunday afternoon.
Joanne Terry - Mother, Midwife (Bmid), Childbirth Education Specialist and Lactation Consultant, IBLCE qualified.
Jo will guide you through normal labour and birth, pain management, optimal positioning, breastfeeding and settling a baby. She will discuss some common interventions and how to make decisions that are right for you and your baby. Meet others who are having babies in a face to face, fun, calm environment.

SOUND BATH

Kate creates a beautiful soundscape using Tibetan singing bowls, voice, tar drum and wind gong to provide a journey from releasing to grounding, as you rest and allow the sounds to restore and nourish your being.
Yoga Fundamentals Workshop

Simone Litchfield (EYS) will take you through the fundamentals of yoga using Yoga Synergy Methods. Learn how YSM are informed by the essence of yoga, anatomy and physiology and can be used in all styles of yoga and physical practice. Entwining mindfulness, posture, breath, sensation, movement, sound and meditation, to realise homeostasis for your well being. Asanas (postures) are taught progressively - simple and focused to more complex options where safe to do so. Beginners and experienced practitioners are welcome.
